A meeting about collaboration
More than ever, Vallée de l’Energie brings together its members around common ideas, know-how sharing and good practices.
The meeting began with a visit of the production center of Endress + Hauser, world leader in instrumentation and measurement, employing over 600 people in France in its agencies, production and research centers. By guiding us through its facilities, both efficient and innovative, and sharing to the visitors its experience and good practices, the Endress + Hauser company has shown us that it was not just a simple member of the cluster driven by Vallée de l’Energie, but also a driving force, ready to share and coordinate a network of companies to move forward together.
The aim of the day was the 2014 Review of the Dynamene - Energy Efficiency project, and all the current stakeholders were present: historic companies of Vallée de l’Energie in the Belfort region (Alstom Power, GE Energy, Dalkia, Cofely), but also companies of the local industry (Sempat - patrimonial company of Belfort, Logistique Globale Européenne - Packaging, EIMI - HVAC and Electrical) and dynamic small companies or start-ups (Efficacité 21 for energy efficiency, OCCS for optimization and control command). The occasion was ideal them to learn more about their partners and present their companies, exchanging about a concrete subject and their related expertise.
Progress on energy efficiency in industry
The rest of the day was dedicated to the Project Review. The Project has two objectives: to create a comprehensive and competitive business offer supporting companies for energy efficiency by fostering innovation, and provide the industrial site of Belfort with a first version of this offer in order to have a comprehensive monitoring of it, to develop innovative solutions of energy management and smart grids: this is the Ecotechn'hom project, next collaborative project also carried by Vallée de l’Energie.
Stakeholders were able to share their involvement in the project, their expectations, their visions, and the various discussions helped to identify the weaknesses and strengths of the project, and the next steps to realize it in the 2nd half of 2015.
So it gave us a lot of hope for the project sponsored by Vallée de l’Energie and its partners, and for all the upcoming projects led by the same enthusiasm and the same efficiency!
