La Vallée de l'Energie au premier salon mondial du Nucléaire du 14 au 16 octobre 2014

The Vallée de l'Energie reinforced its visibility, developed its network and materialized  its partnerships at the first world nuclear exhibition on 14th, 15th and 16th October at Le Bourget. For this first edition, it chose to exhibit with three of its members : CMO, FSH Welding and Lufkin.

Expansion of the cluster : projects that awake interest

The nuclear exhibition at Le Bourget was a real first with 495 exhibitors, 10 national foreign pavilions and 7200 visitors from 71 countries over three days. The presence of numerous actors in the nuclear sector who are also active in other energy fields was an opportunity for the Vallée de l'Energie, represented in large numbers. Its members were mobilized to discuss projects led by the Vallée, to communicate about its vision of grouping energy technologies together and to exchange on good working practice with other, older organizations such as the nuclear industry pole, the Norman nuclear pole Nucléopolis or the limited liability company  Alfadir. The Vallée de l'Energie presented all of its collaborative projects in progress, thus demonstrating its ability to federate industrialists and to gain real profits thanks to a common vision.

Partnerships reinforced by partner companies of the Vallée

The three companies CMO, FSH Welding and Lufkin, members of the Vallée de l'Energie, shared their stand with the association and made promising personal contacts. New commercial channels were identified thanks to the presence of large contractors in the nuclear sector such as Areva, EDF, Westinghouse and Toshiba, present at the exhibition.

New potential partnerships and older contacts reinforced between the Vallée and companies

The exhibition afforded an opportunity to showcase the "Dynamène" project led by the association. Companies such as Busch, Ervor or Boccard, well known to the Vallée de l'Energie, strengthened their links during the exhibition. Other companies interested in its vision of the energy sector were approached. By way of example, a company specialized in non destructive control and another which is a specialist in conformity and certification.

The Vallée de l'Energie succeeded in grasping the opportunity offered by the first Nuclear Exhibition to continue to promote its structuring projects ; the new contacts made will thus pave the way to new ideas and collaboration between its actors.
