Réunion Plénière des acteurs de la filière Energie le 1er octobre à Paris

40 industrialists from the energy technologies sector met for the first time with the aim of working together on Vallée de l'Energie projects.

A national sector

Ever since it was created in 2011, the Vallée de l'Energie has been dedicated to bringing together all the industrialists in the French sector around a common strategic vision and federating projects. This has now become a reality for companies in the Territoire de Belfort : industrial committees, general assemblies, power business meeting ... But the cluster wishes to enlarge and to favorise exchanges between important contractors and suppliers throughout the French territory.

This is why, at the beginning of the year, the association has called together representatives directly involved in all activities of the technological renewal of French energy : engineering offices ( ASSYSTEM, AKKA, ALTRAN, EURO/CFD ), research centres ( AXILAB, CERG, CETIM ), manufacturers, installers, distributors ( DAHER, BUSCH, BOCCARD, KSB, SNRI, LUFKIN, BOUYGUES, GENOYER, HOWDEN ), solutions providers ( JEUMONT, CLEMESSY, VINCI, ACTEMIUM, PROCESS SDYSTEMS, DALKIA, ENDRESS&HAUSER, FLOWSERVE, FIVES ) , large contractors ( GE Power&Water, GE Power Conversion, Alstom Power ).

From Marseille, from the Paris region or from Alsace, 40 buyers, sales managers and heads of companies came to Paris to adhere to the sector strategy and to be informed of the projects led by the Vallée de l'Energie.

Rewarding debates and promising meetings enabled the participants to reflect on solutions to combat current difficulties in the sector, and to inject new enthusiasm into the French offer on international markets.

A structuring project : Dynamène SAS

The SAS Dynamène, the first project proposed by the Vallée de l'Energie, aims at meeting industrialists' needs in terms of trial capacity and measurement. On the one hand this involves the creation of a "multifluids" platform on the Belfort industrial site near production units, and on the other hand becoming a reference in the field of energy diagnosis and proposals for innovative solutions, particularly by welcoming industrial demonstrators.

This project, which was proposed to the French state in response to the "industrial sectors" bid for projects drawn up in 2013,received 3 million euros financial aid last July, proof of recognition of the sector led by the Vallée at a national level. Many industrialists are already greatly participating in the pre-project and the financing : Assystem, AKKA, Endress&Hauser, Euro/CFD, Lufkin, SMCI, Axilab, Alstom and GE are the historic partners alongside laboratories and institutes such as the CERG and the Institute of Welding.

The success of DYNAMENE, which is proof of French industrialists' ability to launch common initiatives enabling them to improve their products and to take the road to innovation and excellence, will depend on the willingness of all actors involved to adopt a long term vision and to invest in the project all together.

This big meeting in Paris is certainly an excellent demonstration in any case !
